Energy & Utilities Subject Matter Expert

We are seeking a Subject Matter Expert (SME) with profound knowledge and experience in the energy and utility market, with a specific focus on the Netherlands, to join our dynamic team. As an SME, you will play a pivotal role in guiding the development and enhancement of our software solutions to meet the unique needs and challenges of clients in the Dutch market.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Provide domain expertise within the energy and utilities sector, with a focus on the Dutch market.
• Utilize your extensive knowledge by collaborating with clients to understand their business challenges, processes, and requirements, and determine how Ferranti can meet those needs.
• Evaluate the customer’s business processes against the defined solution, write functional design documents, and make accurate estimates.
• Configure the defined solution to meet the customer’s needs.
• Guide the client in changing their business processes, according to standard processes.
• Guide a team of developers and/or partners to ensure the implementation of necessary modifications.
• Take the lead in specific functional tracks such as billing, CRM, contract management, etc., in accordance with best practices.
• Create and execute functional test scenarios & scripts, support the client during testing.
• Coach & train colleagues, partners & clients to a higher skill level.
• Initiate & design improvements to our MECOMS product and execute them in 3-weekly sprints.

Profile

You have:

• At least 5 years of experience in the energy and utilities sector, with a deep understanding of the Dutch market.
• In-depth knowledge of energy and utilities processes, regulations, and industry trends in the Netherlands.
• Knowledge of Dynamics 365 & related Microsoft technologies is a plus.
• Strong communication, meeting & presentation skills.
• Excellent business process analysis and business process modeling skills.
• Strong time management & multitasking skills.

You are:

• Fluent in Dutch and English; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
• Flexible and willing to travel.
• Able to influence, negotiate and build consensus with clients & colleagues.
