Ferranti is delighted to announce our partnership with the Women’s Utilities Network (WUN), reinforcing our commitment to a more diverse, collaborative and forward-looking utilities sector.

The energy and utilities industry is evolving rapidly. Addressing the challenges ahead will require fresh perspectives, shared expertise and stronger collaboration across the sector. Encouraging more women into STEM and creating environments where diverse talent can thrive is essential to building the industry of the future. WUN is playing an important role in making that happen by connecting, developing and supporting professionals across the utilities community. Through its network, events and initiatives, WUN helps create opportunities for knowledge sharing, mentoring and meaningful industry conversations.

At Ferranti, we see ourselves as much more than a technology provider. Through MECOMS 365, we deliver mission-critical software for utility companies, but we also believe we have a responsibility to contribute to the wider conversation about the future of the industry.

Whether we’re working with customers, prospects, partners or industry organisations, our goal is to share knowledge, learn from others and help drive positive change. We regularly bring together people from across the utilities ecosystem to exchange ideas, discuss emerging challenges and explore new approaches to delivering better outcomes for customers and the industry alike.

Our partnership with WUN reflects these values. It provides another opportunity to support talent development, encourage greater diversity within STEM careers and continue learning alongside some of the brightest minds across the utilities sector.

We look forward to working with the Women’s Utilities Network and its members, sharing insights, supporting industry conversations and contributing to a sector where knowledge, collaboration and opportunity are accessible to everyone.

Together, we’re helping build a stronger, smarter and more inclusive utilities industry.
