50 Years of Ferranti, one unforgettable celebration: Honouring the people who shaped our journey.

On 17 September, we didn’t just celebrate 50 years of Ferranti. We celebrated the people, the milestones, the memories and everything that has made us who we are today.

For one extraordinary evening, Antwerp’s iconic Theatre Elckerlyc and Gratiekerk became the setting for a celebration unlike any other. More than 400 colleagues, customers, partners and friends who have been part of our journey came together to mark this incredible milestone.

The dress code? Evening attire with a touch of blue, of course! And what a sight it was. From the moment our guests arrived, the atmosphere was filled with excitement, familiar faces, warm reunions and plenty of smiles.

50 years of stories. One incredible journey.

The evening kicked off at Theatre Elckerlyc, where we took our guests on a journey through five decades of Ferranti. From our earliest beginnings to the company we are today, we revisited the milestones, challenges, achievements and unforgettable moments that shaped our story. But Ferranti’s story has never been just about technology.

It’s about people. It always has been.

That’s why we dedicated a special part of the show to recognising the people who bring our values to life. A moment to celebrate those who have helped build Ferranti, those who continue to make a difference every day and the spirit that connects us across generations.

There was nostalgia, laughter, recognition and, above all, an incredible sense of pride in how far we’ve come.

And then… the real party began!

After the show, it was time to take the celebration to the next level. Our guests made their way to the stunning Gratiekerk, where an entirely different experience awaited them. Delicious food served from vibrant street-food stations, drinks flowing, music playing and surprises around every corner.

And because 50 years of Ferranti comes with 50 years of memories, we wanted the entertainment to tell a story of its own.

We brought back some of the most memorable activities from previous Ferranti celebrations, giving them a new place in this milestone event. Guests could try their luck at the casino tables, hunt for a diamond in their glass or have their very own caricature drawn.

And for a little extra Hollywood magic? We introduced the Glambot! Because if there’s ever a night to feel like a superstar, it’s Ferranti’s 50th anniversary.

Every detail was designed to bring people together, spark conversations and create new memories. From nostalgic throwbacks to unexpected surprises, there was something to discover throughout the evening.
