Ferranti welcomes Gemma & Willem to the team: Adding the right people to drive the right conversations

Ferranti is very excited to welcome Gemma & Willem to our team. They bring their extensive experience and energy to our ambitious plans for expanding our footprint in the fast-moving UK and Nordic markets. Following on from the successful implementations of MECOMS 365 within mainland Europe during 2024, Gemma & Willem will drive its adoption to address the regulatory and technology challenges facing the participants in these markets.

Gemma & Willem’s proven expertise and energy will be focused on introducing new prospects to the extensive business value that MECOMS 365 which leverages Microsoft’s Dynamics 365 ERP Platform and Copilot AI capabilities can bring to these companies. 

Meet Gemma: Bringing UK market insight and energy expertise 

Based in the UK, Gemma brings over 20 years of experience in the energy sector, spanning regulation, transformation, customer strategy, and commercial roles. She’s seen firsthand the pain many energies suppliers face when they’re stuck with tech that overpromises and underdelivers. 

“What drives me is being part of something better, something that’s built to last and makes life easier for the teams who have to use it every day,” says Gemma. 

That’s exactly what brought her to Ferranti. With MECOMS 365, she sees a platform that’s not a prototype, but a proven, robust solution that’s been refined through real-world experience. 

“I’m looking forward to taking this very tangible story into the UK market and showing energy suppliers that they do have another option. One that challenges the status quo and puts them back in control.”

Joining from Belgium, Willem brings a passion for authentic engagement and long-term partnerships. With a strong background in sales, he’s committed to listening deeply, understanding customer pain points, and going beyond surface-level solutions.
